After last night's long coming hospital trip, I woke up this morning with even worse belly pain (one of my diagnoses is an umbilical hernia YIKES) I get up and realized I'm bleeding about 5 days early. I was given IV antibiotics for my cough. This happened when I had my appendix out, about 12 hours after iv antibiotics, but before surgery I started my period at least a week early. Frustrating to already be feeling crappy and in pain, now I'm having my period too, ugh. Any nurses heard of this? Or anyone else have this experience?
