What happened at your first appointment?

I'm 21 and this is my first pregnancy. I will be 7 weeks tomorrow and I don't have my first appointment until February 12! :( I'm super excited and I've heard of different things they might do. I'm wondering when you had your first appointment and what happened during that appointment? :)

Depends on the doctor really. They'll ask you about any genetic issues you may have, have you sign forms, draw your blood to make sure you're healthy and indeed pregnant, basically they'll just ask basic questions. They'll have you schedule an ultrasound and another appointment. The ultrasound is to confirm the baby is in your uterus, and to confirm your due date. That appointment they'll do a pelvic exam and take cultures to check for stds and other infections.

They did a urine sample, blood test, Pap smear & asked about my medical history.
