Why not just have a get together in celebration of another baby? I don't think it's entirely fair to ask for items for every baby, maybe small items like clothes but certainly not a shower. Either way, I suppose that's up to you and what you're comfortable with.

I think that if you polled this idea you already don't feel super comfortable with the idea. I believe that every life deserves a celebration. Maybe you can say no gifts or just diapers. Have a party for everyone who wants to celebrate baby. No offense to you and others, and I'm sure it's not just because of gifts. But I've been invited to second and third baby showers and it's exhausting "like where did the gift I got last time go?" And it's not about the money, even if my friends didn't have a shower I'd still get them
Something for the baby. I just think it's the stigma that goes along with a shower.

Im having one for my 3rd.... Theres 8years between my youngest and this one and my mil is super excited to throw one. I think if you want to have 10kids and 10 showers you should :)

Absolutely OK. Baby stuff is expensive... it's nice to have a little push start specially when your kids are older and you don't have any more baby stuff.
