Help me please

I have a problem. Me and my fiancé have been trying for a baby for about 3 months. We get married start of March and my period falls on it. I'm gutted. I've heard of a pill that stops your period but does anyone know if it effects being pregnant or getting pregnant. I have a feeling I won't get pregnant by then but I don't want to worry if I could be and it effects it. Thank you
