Lunette Cup Help

I just bought a Lunette cup, and I am trying it out for the first time. When I go to put the cup into my vagina, my fingers and the cup hurt my labia. My finger nails pinch the skin and the cup will start to unfold before it can be fully inserted. When I take the cup out (after I've fished around in there for it) it also stretches my labia in a painful way. I am not a virgin, but I'm a small person and have a very small vagina. Does anybody have any advice on how to make this less painful? Also, when the cup is in there, it catches most of the liquid but a little bit leaks out onto my panties. Am I not inserting the cup right? I cannot feel it once it's in there, and my
