Florida governor Rick Scott did it again. . (I'm putting this in heath and lifestyle because I don't see the controversy Corner anymore)

Signed a bill last year (that passed this year).. saying that anyone having an abortion is forced to wait 24 hours for approval.

What for- u gonna send a priest at their door and peer pressure them into having a child they don't want?

While I understand the whole - give birth and put them up for adoption- thing..it doesn't work for everyone.

What of rape victims? Much has to be said. .but the only thing that I'm not OK with is that NOBODY SHOULD TELL ME WHAT I HAVE TO DO WITH MY BODY. AND NO, UNLESS THE FETUS HAS A HEARTBEAT (AND I AGREE THAT'S MURDER) , IS NOT ACTUALLY A HUMAN BEING. For anyone that says that life begins at conception, it simply doesn't. .life begins the moment the heart starts beating. Before than there's no "human" it's a " thing".

I am totally FOR illegal abortion, IF the person is trying to abort passed a certain time limit, however, nobody has the right to tell me, or any other woman, that because she was raped, and got pregnant, she is forced to have that monster's baby.

And Rick Scott, passing a law that forces a woman to wait 24 hours is nonsense. What for? Change her mind? 99% of women who book an appointment for an abortion, will NOT change their minds ON THEIR OWN within 24 hrs. Spoooo the 24 hours is used now ( because they ask for ID and phone number) to harass women, to make them feel guilty, and peer pressure them into not getting the abortion. What are they planning on doing? Sending a priest to a woman's home, convince her that she's committing murder??

You are attempting to take away the rights to our own bodies ( no, I do not think we have ANOTHER BEING AND IT'S NOT JUST OUR BODY- UNLESS THE FETUS HAS A HEARTBEAT)

I was a rape victim and survivor...I had an abortion and I never looked back nor regretted it...because had I let that monster's child grow in me, I promise you I would have hated myself him AND the thing growing in me, and most likely would have self aborted half way ( THAT I consider murder), and then killed myself because I wouldn't be able to live with myself knowing I ACTUALLY killed a beating heart. So instead, the day I found out I was pregnant, the day I missed my period- I KNEW I was pregnant...It didn't even show up, because I was just shy of one week...and to go back for another ultrasound 4 days later. .at a week and 4 days, it was confirmed. .I also had the abortion that same day. ..NOTHING AND NOBODY would ever be able to convince me that I did the wrong thing. .

Had I not done that, it would have eaten me from the inside out, feeling abs reliving the experience and hating that MONSTER growing in me. I would have self aborted half way through..then killed myself. .

So no, I don't think ANYONE has the right to tell a woman she should not be able to abort...especially rape victims.

I don't care how much of a ''sin" it is for some. ..unless -it- because it doesn't yet have a gender, so. .unless -it- has a heartbeat, NOBODY should tell any woman what to do. .
