What's the deal with lubricant?

This study shows it made no difference. I accidentally used it the last few months. This month I had what I think might be implantation bleeding but now I just learned it can kill sperm... Needless to say I'm discouraged now.

I only use a sperm friendly lube after I read lube can limit sperm mobility

Water based lubes can lower mobility but even with lower mobility you can get pregnant however to be on the safe side we use TTV friendly lube like pre-seed.
