Do you and your partner still kiss? (For ppl in an LTR)

I've been with my bf for 2 years and we don't kiss or make out anymore. We 'peck' kiss a lot, like hello and goodbye, but not real open mouth kiss. We actually stopped after only 1 year or less of dating. My friends in LTRs say they still kiss and make out with their partners, especially as foreplay. When I asked my bf one year ago he said he thinks I'm just not big on kissing, and he's right because this was the case in my last relationship too. But now when I asked him at 2 years why we don't kiss he says it's normal for couples in an LTR to stop. I agree with him that I'm not big on kissing but I kind of miss the passion now. So is he right, does kissing end in LTRs?
