Membrane sweep...I have a question??

Next Monday I am scheduled to have my membrane seeped which I hope everything works out because I'm a tired momma. This is my 3rd pregnancy but will only be my 2nd time having my membrane sweeped. First time done with 2nd pregnancy I went into labor & had my daughter 12 hrs later.

My question is will it work for this pregnancy?? A little anxious...& wondering if it will work this time around. What do you all think?

I had it done with both of my kids and it worked for both writhing 24 hours. They say if it doesn't put you into labor in 48 hours, the baby just wasn't ready yet. I am getting mine done with my 3rd baby on the 11th of not this week. I would say it is uncomfortable but nothing compared to labor. 😳

I had mine done this afternoon. I'm not really feeling much but a little cramping. I'm hopeful it is going to work. I would love my little girl to be here tomorrow. Baby #4 and 39+2 weeks.

Following getting my sweep tomorrow morning 😱. Also a 3rd time mom but my first sweep.

Anyone ever have complications from a membrane sweep?? Recently told some had a bad experience where the baby was born and inhaled meconium, I know that could be caused from other things but who knows!!! Just want to make sure there are no horrible risks! Supposed to get mine done next Tuesday.
