Breast milk?

I've been pumping a lot today and can seem to get much of anything out. I don't even get an ounce from both breast put together. Is there ways to increase your milk production?

For the first few weeks pumping your body had to get used to baby first. Continue breast feeding baby for at least 3 weeks (if they are a newborn) then start pumping in between feelings when they are sleeping. Use a warm wash cloth to help release your milk also known as "letting down"

Some of the best advice I received from a lactation nurse is to make sure your baby has a good latch. Breast feed for 10 minutes at a time on each side, alternating, for a total of up to 40 minutes. After each feed pump for 10 - 15 minutes and store that breast milk.  Some good supplements include mothers milk tea, lactation cookies, and fenugreek capsules (2-3 capsules, 2-3x/day).  Oatmeal is also known to increase breastmilk production.  My doctor also prescribed me Reglan and it has helped increase my supply.
