What do you guys feel about clomid?

I'm just wondering from a religious stand point, feel free to share your opinion.

My take on it, no matter what people have children in God's timing. A close friend of mine was conceived after her dad got the snip snip. She's now on her way into ministry! People get pregnant on birth control, with tubes tied, after countless years trying etc. And I do believe that's God's timing. He also gave doctors the minds to be able to help along with it. I don't see any problem!

I also felt this way as I will soon be starting clomid but I prayed on the decision and decided that it was part of God's plan for my ttc journey.  I prayed for a doctor to help me find answers and he guided me to a great doctor.  I don't feel like me using clomid is against my faith bc I still have to have faith that God will allow me to ovulate with the help of the medicine. That he will allow fertilization then implantation. All of that is still with his will his timing!

It's kind of like the opposite of birth control. Birth control blocks your body from ovulation wheras clomid stimulates the pituitary gland to encourage the egg to release. I see no reason why God would disprove of clomid. It's more a conscience matter. In your situation I would take it. But I'm also the type that believes in taking BC and some religions say BC is wrong. Neither are misusing the gift of life. You are timing things so that you can provide the best start to that gift.
