Have you had a period at any time while pregnant?

Question

I know that technically when your body starts producing HcG, your period is supposed to stop. However, I've heard of women having one period or so after conceiving. Have you had a period at any time while pregnant? If so, did the pregnancy "stick"? I know that's not the best way to formulate the last question, but I can't think of a better way to phrase it right now. If you did have a period during pregnancy and you are comfortable sharing, how many did you have while pregnant?

You can bleed while pregnant, but it is not a period.

I bled almost the entire 1st trimester. But my doc said it wasn't a period, that id torn something inside me from being fragile due to a miscarriage 4 months prior. When it started I thought for sure it was a mc beca use I woke up, sat up, and blood came rushing out. It finally slowed down and stopped at the end of my first trimester.

I think that you can't have any periods during pregnancy, all blood is bleeding and surely is a very dangerous symptom. I had bleeding at 3-4 week for 10 days in a row and at 15 weeks (very small amount of blood, like teaspoon volume). Every time I got frightened by this and at 15 weeks I was placed on a bed rest for whole 4 weeks nevertheless I felt quite normal with no cramps. At early pregnancy the most common reason of bleeding is low progesterone levels or a problem with development of a baby (and maybe the empty sack), which hopefully will convert to a miscarriage. At later pregnancy bleeding could be caused by hematoma of placenta or placental partial detachment. Doctors usually put you in a group of a high risk of miscarriage and place you to a bedrest, because it's probably the most useful thing for woman - to have a rest and relax. 
So, for all moms-to-be, please,  do not ignore such symptoms as cramps and bleedings, especially with red blood! Go to your doc or to ER, they will help you to maintain your pregnancy, nowadays we have a lot of opportunities to keep our sweet babies, don't miss your chance!

I didn't, but my mother apparently did with me. They thought I was twins, but turned out she was 3 months already.

I never did but my mom didn't find out she was pregnant with me until she was almost 8 months because she had her period the whole time. And my cousin just had her baby in her bathroom yesterday because she didn't know she was pregnant either 😳 but I'm fine and was born at 6 lbs 11 oz and my cousins baby is fine at 7 lbs 10 oz!
