If I'm taking prenatal pills can I continue to smoke or will it kill my hormones?

Answer

Smoking can decrease fertility in both male and females by 50% with or without prenatal pills. The toxins and the nicotine in cigarettes will come in high levels in your cervical mucus it can cause infertile cervical mucus and cervical issues. Smoking also ages and damages over half of your eggs and deprives the ovaries oxygen.  It is best to try and quit as much as you can.

I would cut back as much as possible in preparation for quitting when you have conceived. Quitting now would be best for you and your future baby obviously but at least cut back!

I was a full time smoker and always failed to give up until me and my partner decided to ttc , I ain't smoked for a month now, and Iv never felt better!!
