Subway for lunch? 🙏🏼

I was craving sweet onion chicken teriyaki sub for a really long time but didn't get to eat till now because they say deli meats are no-no. I did make sure that it was extra toasted though. But now I feel so guilty about it! I'm 6 weeks now. Is my baby OK?

Deli meat is fine to eat. It's not like your gorging on raw meat. Go get your craving. You and baby will be fine.

You're fine. I've ate subway a couple times since being pregnant. I ask them to put the meat by itself through once then again one more time on the bread. I think the chicken is def fine though!

Isn't their chicken real pieces of chicken breast and not deli slices meat? I could be wrong but I thought thats what my husband gets! Also not sure if that makes it okay but I thought so! lol

I wouldn't eat it everyday because obviously that increases your odds of getting listeria but once in a while go ahead

I avoid deli meat because of the listeria risk, albeit small, but I will eat it if it's been microwaved. I eat subway meatball sandwiches maybe once a month or every other month without an issue. They're cooked and kept hot :) so is the chicken in that sandwich, right? And a lot of women say toasting a sub is sufficient (so long as the meat reaches the right temperature). So don't worry :)
