Eating spicy foods while pregnant?

Okay,  I want to get one thing clear.  I am 16, not ttc, not pregnant.

However, as I sit on my toilet regretting my decision of eating a spicy chicken sandwich from Chickfila, I was wondering.

Can pregnant women eat spicy foods???  Won't it hurt the baby?

It doesn't hurt the baby. Most women don't eat spicy food while pregnant cuz they don't want to deal with the heartburn that comes with it.

Yes you can eat spicy food while pregnant but it can cause indigestion and acid reflux while pregnant

I crave nothing but spicy and luckily no heartburn from it. I have multiple bottles of hot sauce in my fridge and I usually have a couple of different bottles out for meals to drench my food in. My husband says our daughter is going to come out with a spicy attitude lol
