Lh surge right before period?

Does anyone know if it's normal to have Lh surge near AF? I accidentally did OT instead of PT this morning since I was half asleep. Got excited when I saw two lines but then realized I opened wrong box. Wondering if this is normal, or maybe explains no luck ttc??

Hi, because im obsessed with pee'ing on any stick at anytime of the month .. I found that i got positive ovulation tests upto 4days before my period was due up until it came.. So yes i beleive you do get a LH surge when your period is expected.. X
