What... why?? Heart broken

I tested this morning at around 8:30 and after 10 months of trying and deciding to call it quits after this period, I got a positive from a "First response digital", then in disbelieve, but elated non the less, bought another test "First response fast result" and a clear negative!!! Nooooo, devastated! How? Why??

Fmu is always best. See this all the time. You're pregnant. :)  If it makes you feel better, buy another test to use first urine in the a.m.

Some tests require less hormone to be able to tell, it's probably just early enough that one test picked it up and the other didn't. Wait two days and retest. Don't stress! Good vibes sent your way! Looks like God heard your prayers :)

A false positive digital is HIGHLY unlikely, probably just diluted urine!  Best of luck, don't get too stressed out!  😄

I've always heard that you cannot get a false positive...so I could say you're pregnant. Congratulations!!

The fr fast result one needs a lot of hcg I think. I bought one on accident once and it said not to take until your period was due or late I believe. Try again in the morning with a different kind.

I hate to tell you, but I had a false positive on a First Response digital in June. This was after the first test in the box malfunctioned and didn't work at all. My period started less than 24 hours later, which is why I believe it was a false positive rather than a chemical pregnancy.

It's possible in your case it was just diluted urine leading to the negative, but I simply no longer trust digital tests. They are no more accurate - they're simply a regular, less sensitive test with a small computer to read the results for you, and electronics have a higher chance of malfunction.

I done the same thing on Christmas morning I got a positive dig test just like that and all the rest where neg turns out I was not pregnant it must have been a faulty test!! But don't lose hope yet keep testing until af shows hopefully she don't!!

I think it's still very likely that you are pregnant. The test are different and you might be early but were able to detect it on one with AM Pee. But too early to detect it with another with pm pee. Good luck. Retest in a day or two. I'm crossing my fingers for you!! Let us know what happens.
