Want a Puppy!🐶

How did you convince your parents to let you have a puppy? I want a pussy soooo bad I just love how cute there and I want to feel protected by them when I'm outside. I know all the jobs that I have to do with them like take them outside to let them do there business, bath them when their dirty, clean up after them, etc etc. I have had 6 Guinea pigs, 1 fish, 1 turtle, and a cat... My cat still lives with me but the other ones don't, my mom wants to get rid of my cat because he can't stay in the house for NOTHING. I'm almost 17, does it take time to convince your parents? My mom says I can't have anymore pets till I get my own home lol
