When do you become a mother?

For me it's somewhere in between. I am 32 weeks and don't exactly feel like a mom yet but do feel very connected with my son. That probably doesn't make sense but it's just my feeling.

I think it's the moment you are pregnant. As a mother, you start making choices for your baby. What you do/don't eat or drink, medications you take etc. The choices you make while pregnant are for your child. At least they should be.

My daughter is almost 2 months and I still don't feel like a mom.
