Schedule c-section question?

All mommies who ever had scheduled csections..Has the baby ever come before the scheduled csection? 
At how many weeks??

My son stayed in until scheduled c-section at 39w5d - I know that was pushing my luck, but that's what happens when you have a baby 1 week after New Years and 2 weeks after Christmas!  All the OR time books up! He was only 6lb 4oz, so it's probably a good thing. Fingers crossed #2 cooperates and stays put too!
