Is the name "Storm" too weird for a boy?

My fiance and I are huge science geeks, and I'm a big weather nerd. There are a ton of weather related names for girls, but I'm having trouble finding a boy name. I came across an actor names Storm Lienberger who played in the Phantom of the Opera show I saw last year, and I love it. However, some people think I'd be torturing my kid giving him the name Storm. Thoughts? I'm thinking Storm Alexander.
