What helped you induce labor naturally?

Question

Any moms have some good advice out there? I'm trying to get labor going, I'm just about 37 weeks and am trying to make small progress these last few weeks. 
I had sex at 33+2 and it put me into preterm labor (total accident), so I've been trying that again and it makes me contract like crazy but after so many hours of contracting it stops. 
Did anything help you ladies kick start labor??

Nothing helps unless your body is ready. 39+1 today, and I've tried sex, pineapple, spicy food, walking, nipple stimulation, relaxing, dancing, playing with my son on my hands and knees, doing squats, doing lunges, going up and down the stairs, skipping stairs, crawling up stairs.... All of this while I'm experiencing prodromal labor so you'd think it'd be helping. All it's doing, honestly, is making me exhausted and frustrated. Just stay busy and try to figure out a way to relax and wait it out, because really, you're not in control.
