Sex after miscarriage?

I'm currently in the middle of a miscarriage, I believed I passed the baby Monday night an now I'm just having light spotting, I know a lot of people say you are most fertile after miscarriage so I know once I quit bleeding obviously is it okay to have sex or wait? What did you do?!

I'm so sorry for your loss. All three times I had a miscarriage I was very vulnerable. The doctor told me to wait like two weeks to have sex. I never waited two weeks. I couldnt. I literally cried because I just needed to be as close as I could to my husband. I wanted sex so bad. Obviously it wasn't smart to do the opposite of what my doc told me, but I'm human. Use your best judgment and talk to your doctor.

As soon as the bleeding stops, it's really up to you and your comfort level. It's perfectly fine to start again right away. I felt like I really needed to just because I hadn't felt "normal" in so long and it seemed like something that would get us back to normal. So sorry for your loss. Little by little it gets easier.
