Husbands feelings

So my husband is in the military. Back in November when we were on our first cycle TTC he was out in the field and borrowed his instructors phone and called to see what the pregnancy test said. It was negative. When he told his instructor his instructor (who had seven kids may I add) called him a failure and now every time I have a negative pregnancy test he beats himself up over it and takes it to heart and blames himself. I don't know what to do because it hurts me to see him so sad every time. My mom had a really REALLY tough time getting pregnant so I know it's me and not him. But I just need some suggestions on how to handle this. Sorry for the long post and if this is in the wrong group.
