Any suggestions on how to tell my boyfriend?

OK, so my boyfriend knows there's a chance that I might be pregnant. The thing is, I've been taking HPTs and the faint line keeps getting darker, so I'm pregnant. How do I tell him that I am? And we weren't TTC, I just must've ovulated late and we weren't as careful as we should've been around then. I want to do it in person and might see him tomorrow and/or Saturday.

It's not easy telling someone news like this, whether you are excited or scared. Honestly, if it wasn't planned and you are worried about his reaction, I'd just set him down and explain that you continued testing and had positive home tests. Try to include him with doctors appointments and feel him out from there. A baby is meant to be, regardless of what you do to prevent it. I have a 9 month old, we used birth control and condoms and I'm still 6 weeks myself. I was upset, because it wasn't our timing, but now I look at it as a major blessing. I'm not sure if you were wanting to do a cute announcement for him or not, but regardless of how you tell him, make sure it's face to face. I don't understand why women text news like that to their SO's lol

Ease into the conversation. Don't be surpsied if he panics. I had been dating my now husband for 6 months when I was surprisingly pregnant with our daughter. Make sure you are on equal ground. Not in his home. That's what my dad told me the day I decided to tell him. He told me, make sure you can leave the situation if something goes wrong (not suggesting violence) just suggesting that anything can happen. Do you have anyone at home supporting you? Or is it just you that knows so far? I once had a friend tell her "summer fling" she was pregnant with his son. She did it at a restaurant. She said she did it somewhere on equal grounds that way either one could leave at any time. That way there was no screaming and yelling. Or in her case, so that he wasn't physical against her and her son. Just make sure you walk in very confident. Knowing what you want. Knowing you are wanting to keep the baby, or etc. Keep hope, and trust your instincts. 💕
