When should I tell people I'm preggo??

I've told immediate friends really just friend who have kids n close friends, haven't been able to tell my best friend because she suffered 2 miscarriages so I'm  still trying to figure out if I should spring it on her along with the rest of my family via social media  but not sure when I'm 5 weeks ugh 😩

Everyone has a different time when they decide it's right to share the news. I am on my fourth pregnancy, after having two miscarriages. When I was in my third pregnancy, after I had the first ultrasound near 8 weeks and I heard the heartbeat and seen my baby was okay, I shared the news in hopes of obtaining prayers for a healthy pregnancy and I carried full term. I'm pregnant again, hopefully another full term, but only my family and a few friends know. Im not fully sharing the news until I have the gender reveal. You'll know when you feel most comfortable sharing the news, but I was always scared to share it too soon. My opinion is wait until 10-12 weeks, just because it's close to the end of the first trimester. Good lucky with your pregnancy momma! Trust your instincts, you'll know what to do when the time is right, I promise 😊

Also, as for springing the news on your best friend on social media, I wouldn't do that. I know the news will be hard to hear, I was in the same situation with my best friend, but I'm sure she'll respect the news and handle it better in person. I'd tell her prior to announcing on social media, so she's not blind sighted!
