I'm pregnant. My friend is having her daughters first birthday party at their house. I never go to their house because they have cats and I'm so allergic to her cats. Being in her house 15 min causes my eyes to itch and throat to tighten even with the cats out away but sometimes they'll be out and Coke rubbing themselves on my leg, ick. Anyway I'm trying to decide if I'm going to her daughters bday because I don't want to take meds to do so. But I also don't want to seem like a bad friend because she always invites me and I'll say "do you still have cats?" And then I'll decline because of course she does. So anyway, what do y'all think?  I am just really trying to avoid unnecessary meds anyway I can. I've been this way the entire pregnancy I have a cold and won't even take meds. Should I just take the meds and go? We live in the Midwest and the party is in spring, probably won't be outside as our weather is very unpredicatble.
