My bf doesn't spend valentines day with me

I'm in a relationship but my boyfriend doesn't spend valentines day with me. He didn't last year, I asked him and he told me he was meeting his friend.

Can't help feel alone, every other couple would be spending the day together. If I was single it wouldn't be so bad.

I know he used to spend it with his ex, but I don't get why he won't with me. I'm not expecting much just him to spend time with me, not even about the money.
