Question for the pagan ladies about Satan!
This isn't meant to bash anyone. I keep hearing about how many pagans (primarily Wiccans?) don't believe the Christian devil exists. Why is that? Does that mean you also don't believe the Christian god exists?? If that's the case, why? I mean, our multiple gods exist - why not Lucifer (or the Christian god)?

Maybe it's just because I was raised Christian, but I believe Lucifer exists. I just don't see him as evil. He's simply the warden of the jail - hell. And wardens aren't evil; it's just their job. God is the one who created hell in order to send Lucifer there - and as a place for certain souls. It's kind of like how Hades is the ruler of the underworld, but he isn't evil - it's just where he was placed.

But I can't imagine why other pagans wouldn't believe in him, so I'd like to understand why. I'm just curious - no shit-stirring intended.
