My husband has a 5 yr old from a previous marriage. He divorced his ex wife because she became pregnant....3 months after having my husbands son......from another man. She married that man who she also has a 8 year old with. He sells crack. Now they divorced. We get my stepson on the weekends now because he is in school. His mother plans things with her relatives for him on our weekends. She won't talk to us directly. She uses my husbands mother to talk to us. My husbands mother pays her rent!!!! Every Facebook post of hers is her partying or drinking. Keep in mind she's 35 years old. And yes my husbands mom is an enabler to her. We have talked to her, she refuses to stop. My stepsons mom pawns him off to random people so we don't even know where he is during the week. She got mad because she couldn't claim him this year for taxes. The court decided they would switch claiming each year. Ever since then she has made it hard for us to get a full weekend with him. I'm afraid once his is in kindergarten we will never see him. Has anyone else gone thru something similar? Anything I can do?
