Cleft lip??

Question

20 weeks..does this look like cleft lip to anyone else??  Tech didn't say anything about it I didn't notice until I got home...in love either way !!!!

I will be honest and say I think it does.. My friends baby had it and it's kind of looks like her scan.. Don't panic incase I'm wrong mind. By your baby will be perfect no matter what ☺️

They took several photos of my daughter at 20 weeks and they looked like she had a cleft lip but they didn't say anything. Long story short, her lips are big and cute and nothing is wrong with them.

With my first DS the 3D US freaked me out. He totally looked like he had a significant cleft lip. He was born just fine. Nothing at all wrong with his lip, it was just the ultrasound. Doc told me that fluids and angles often make it look that way. Show your doc and they will let you know if they are concerned. (Techs generally can't comment about these things.)

Looks like it but that doesn't mean anything. I assume if they think so they'd say! I have/had a cleft lip as a baby and I've had a modeling career both stills and run way. So don't let it discourage you on the cosmetic front!! 😊 I know another little girl with one too and she is beautiful. Cosmetic surgery has gone a long way!!

The top one does but the bottom one doesn't so the top one is probably just a shadow.

Yes. But it looks like it maybe the palate too. Look at the way the nose is. My dad had a cleft lip at birth. Easily fixed. My brother had both a lip and palate and that just meant more reconstruction and him having speech issues. But its not to bad.
