I went for my 20 week anatomy scan today. My sweet baby boy looked perfectly healthy! My OB said that my placenta was 1.5 cm away from my cervix, when it should be 2 cm. She said it was placenta previa. She said that a lot of times the expanding uterus will pull the placenta up and further away from the opening of my cervix. I go back in 4 weeks for another ultra sound to check it. She put me on "pelvic rest" and said no intercourse for 4 weeks. Has anyone else had placenta previa at 20 weeks? Did it fix itself naturally?
