Incompetent cervix on hospital bedrest at 24 weeks
Hey at 22 weeks 6 days they found that I had an incompetent cervix and was going to do the cerclage. When they checked me my cervix was completely gone and had dilated 3 cm. They gave me mag for 4 days and I've fluids to stop the contractions even tho I never felt them. They took me off the mag and iv and now I'm only on procardia every 6 hours. I've been on hospital bedrest for a week. I just turned 24 weeks 1 day today. Happy I made it this far praying to make it even further along. Everything with the baby is normal and she is doing fine. My question is has this happened to anyone else? If so how long were you on hospital bedrest and did they let u go home to finish your bedrest?
