Weightloss surgery?

I am planning on weight loss surgery l. For my health and to be healthy while ttc for my rainbow. I cant decide between the band or sleeve? Any experience or suggestions??

Band. To have the band means it can be loosened & removed should yiu have any issues. Once the sleeve is done its permanent- there have been a few people who have had gastric sleeves and had complications to the point where they cannot eat and become malnutrished. Always choose the reversible option - so much safer

I had a full on gastric bypass and lost close to 200lbs in 2.5 years. Got pregnant last summer but miscarried, unrelated to weight or bypass. The weightloss has kept my PCOS under control and I know we will be pregnant again soon :). Bust of luck to you!

My mom has gastric bypass and seeing the 20 vitamins she takes and she still is anemic I'd say don't do anything permanent.

Sleeve. A lot of bariatric clinics are discontinuing use of the band because it's not extremely effective and is easy to "cheat" and not make progress. It's an expensive procedure that doesn't produce results. I had a roux en y but I know my surgeon is a big supporter of the sleeve and has chosen it as his #1 option for most patients.
