Anybody out there under the vow of ahimsa?

Hindus? Buddhists? Anybody? I'm a Christian but I follow the lifestyle of ahimsa (nonviolence)  and was wondering if anybody else on here also does that?

I've never heard of that. You're talking about being a pacifist, right? I didn't know it had a spiritual type title.

I don't know much about it other than the obvious. Once, I heard of certain monks (I think) who would use a broom to sweep infront of them as they walked to ensure they didn't accidentally step on and kill any bugs or other tiny critters.

Is that the type of thing you're referring to?
