If you aren't going to use the crib right away I would wait until after the baby shower, you might get gift cards or lucky and someone will buy it! But if you're going to use it right away I personally would want the nursery all finished before I get too uncomfortable and tired. I'm 16 weeks and we are waiting to find out the gender and then we will buy, I want white for a girl and maybe grey or a darker color for a boy.

I'm waiting till June or July, she won't use the crib right away anyways.

We will wait til after the baby shower just in case.

I'm 17 weeks and we just bought ours and set it up! We shopped around and bought it on sale so that played a factor as well.

My sister keeps telling me that hers took 10 weeks to get to her from buybuy baby but I still haven't. My in laws begged us to let them buy it so whenever they get around to it.

I just bought one at 16 weeks but we also bought it because it was on sale. I don't think there's a set time you have to do anything! :)

We bought one when I was 14 weeks. I know many suggest that you wait for a "safer" time, but I feel more at ease getting things setup in advance.

I got mine at 12w and we are 20w now. I'm buying as i find the deals. Would rather save the money and the headaches of having to rush and scramble for everything

I'll buy mine around 37 weeks. Just so the room is done and set up and I won't have to worry about it I want that out of the way since I'll have a toddler and newborn to watch over and can't get much done lol
