Curious

I took a frer this morning and got a bfn. Buttttt I'm only 8 days away from my expected period. I know I shouldn't have tested so early but I can't help but feeling like I'm pregnant. I feel like I would have had at least a super faint line if I was. Has anyone else gotten a clear negative and then went on to get their bfp?
