Doctor said chemical

I went to the doctor with my faint positive tests yesterday, and she did a test at the office (urine) and said it was a chemical pregnancy. I asked for blood work she said it would show the same so she didn't recommend it. I was sad since we had a miscarriage with a lot of complications in September. I took another test this morning and got the darkest line yet (period due tomorrow)  What would you believe?
