Irritated tongue...literally lol, anyone have this?

So I'm anemic (I usually am in pregnancy) and the last couple weeks my tongue has been itchy and I have weird patches. So gross I know🙈 I just want to know if anyone has had this from as I heard this was a symptom of being anemic?

Mine gets patchy and burns, my dentist said its a sensitivity to salt.

If i'm picturing what you're saying correctly, then I've had this all my life, it's not due to anemia, it's a sensitivity to citrus fruit acid, & salt .. They call it a "geographic tongue"

I don't know if that's anemia. What color are the patches? If they are white that sounds like thrush.
