Obstetric or prenatal?

Type of sonography dealing with babies growth would it be called majoring in obstetric sonography or prenatal? What would you tell people

You still have to go to school for sonography. They teach you how to do all the scans. There are different types of sonography though. Vascular ultrasound deals with veins and arteries. And general ultrasound deals with organ scans, procedures and obstetric scans. You usually pick which specialty you want and go from there.

Obstetric. However, most ultrasound technologists do more than "just scan babies". In fact it is very hard to find a job that only does obstetrics. OB/GYN offices are some of the only places that would do this and even then, non pregnant women need abdomen/pelvic ultrasounds. If you work in a hospital you would scan kidneys, gallbladders, do procedures, and do obstetric scans, just to name a few. Have you started school yet?
