Is it possible not to ovulate one month?

I've only been TTC since January but last month I used clear blue digital ovulation kit and got a positive test one day during my fertile window. This month I did not get any positive tests. Did I not ovulate? I had all the symptoms!

I tried an at home ovulation kit when my husband and I were TTC our first baby. It said that I did not ovulate at all. I didn't stress on it and wound up pregnant shortly after. Not ovulating every month is fairly common. It can have a lot to do with stress, etc.

Sometimes women don't ovulate every month. If that's something you're concerned about, especially if you're TTC, I would definitely talk to my GYN. I have a friend who went through a series of blood work to track ovulation.
