So, my husband and I live in an apartment complex. There's this one family that used to feed all of these stray cats, and then they moved. The cats still hang around. Well, my husband accidently left some food outside once, and a stray ate it, and now won't leave us alone!

Everytime we go outside, it starts pawing at out feet, begging for food. We were going to take it to a rescue in our town, but it freaked out and clawed and sprayed my husband and ran off. After that, it began spraying our apartment door and all of our stuff.

We called animal control several times, and they still have not come out, saying they're "too busy". We called the rescue again, but now they're saying their too full to take it in. We told our apartment manager, and they just say to call animal control.

The entire inside of my house smells like cat spray, and we've tried scaring it off, we don't feed it or anything, but it's so annoying. Especially how we can't even walk outside to do anything without it pawing at our feet, but if we get too close, it'll start screeching really loud and attack. It's wild!

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and I'm terrified to bring baby home because of a stupid stray cat.

Any ideas to run off the cat that I haven't tried??
