Flu while pregnant

Lindsay
I'm finally on the mend after two days of being completely incompacitated from the flu. I'm just curious, are there long lasting effects on baby if mother had the flu while pregnant? My doctor didn't seem super concerned. (Currently 27 weeks)
Thanks!

Most of the concern would be dehydration and the fever. Try to keep yourself hydrated so you don't start having contractions. If you still have a fever take some Tylenol. Feel better!

You should be fine the main concern with flu is the fever so as long as the fever is controlled and doesn't get to high baby will be just fine!
