So I haven't been on eve for very long now and I've just been reading responses to get the feel of this so called "family". It's true that some girls on here are helpful and supportive of the fact that every girl no matter what age is allowed to make her own decisions and that we are not each others mothers or here to judge. We are suppose to be friends and help each other through tough times. But, there are so many women on here that are judgmental, rude, stuck up biotches that clearly don't know the meaning of family. I came on here because I have no female friends to talk to, no sisters and my mom passed away when I was 6 and I just wanted girls that I could relate to and ask for help from and maybe give supportive, non criticizing advise to. Everyone has their own life path and every decision they make is on them, and if they are in a hard time where they need help from people they thought they could call friends, they should not get back such judgmental mean comments. If a 14 year old girl needs guidence from people she probably hoped were older and had been through similar situations and would treat her with kindness, then there should be no reason for this poor girl to receive such horribly insensitive and demeaning comments. All of you who talked to her like her mother, which you aren't by the way, should feel ashamed! She is only 14 and was coming to us, this "family" with empty arms and pleads for help, not comments that make her feel like crap and unworthy of your support. This is suppose to be a judgment free zone. All of you who shamed her are what give girls such bad reputations. You people are what cause the stereotypes that feminists have to fight so damn hard to get rid of. I would never want to confide in any of you horrible people, and you know who I'm talking to, my personal secrets and concerns for my well being because I would be afraid of being judged and harassed based on your own personal views. Maybe you should stop and think how the people you're putting down feel before you give a big fuck you to girl power and sisterhood.
