when is the best time to do HSG test plz

Had mine 3 weeks ago. Call and schedule on first day of your period. No sex until after test is done. They do on day 9 or 10 counting day of your period as day 1. Also any bleeding or blood discharge must be gone. I had it done in Georgia and it was $650. My insurance didn't cover. Your ob has to send test request to radiology.

I just finished my AF yesterday and having sex last night....do I still can go or wait for another month???  Now I am  on CD 8 days and my HSg test will be on Wednesday

My OB told me once AF finishes go ahead and have the test done just to ensure that you are not pregnant. So best time is a couple days after AF finished

I was told to call when I started my period and it got scheduled about a week later. They wanted to do it right after my cycle but before I ovulated.

I was scheduled to have one done but had a positive ovulation test the day before so it was cancelled. I am waiting until I start my period and then calling and scheduling. Which would be the best time. The nurse said they didn't want to chance "flushing anything out" by going ahead and doing the procedure that day.
