Constant abdominal pain.

Hannah
Is it normal to have constant lower abdominal pain??? It feels like my abdomen muscle is being torn apart and I'm only 31 weeks. It hasn't gone away either. It turns to a sharp pain when I try to sit up or even walk.

Your muscles might be separating. I had a huge amount of muscle tearing/separation last time and it constantly felt like my stomach was being torn apart the third trimester.

They put in an order for a belly brace for me to help with support, but unfortunately there's not much else they can do. The brace did help some though, definitely more than the band I had bought, it lofted my belly enough to take some of the horrid pressure off my sides and lower abs.

Did your doctor do anything for it? It still hasn't gone away.

My dr sent me to the hospital because of similar pain. I DID NOT want to go & knew that was being over dramatic. It was a lot of wasted time to find out "normal physiological changes your body is making right now" I was also really dehydrated. Drinking more has helped a bit
