Registering for baby #2?

I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts are about registering for a 2nd baby. And what are the best items to get with 2. My daughter will be 3.5 when her sibling arrives and I have had friends tell me I should register. This never really crossed my mind, but even if this baby is a girl, it won't be in the same season my daughter was. I will still have to buy some new clothes. Some people told me to register just for me to keep track of things we want/need, and to get the completion coupons at the end to buy expensive items like a double stroller. I won't be having another shower as far as I know. Thoughts? Thanks!

Register. It never hurts and it will help you keep track of what you need. And you get the completion discount if you have to buy stuff yourself.

I would do it just for the completion coupon/gift card depending what store you register at.

I don't see why not. It's so much easier when shopping off a registry. If your friends say do it then do it!
