Hip Pains

Shawna
I'm entering my 2nd trimester and I've had pretty bad hip pains on and off all day today. No cramping, just pain on my hip bones. I thought I wouldnt have hip pains until my third trimester. Is this normal or something I should be worried about? I would ask google but I've already diagnosed myself with 5 types of cancer trying to google symptoms.

I would say it is completely normal. It's your body making room for baby. I am in my second as well and have the same problem pretty much - sleeping at night is the worse.

I'm in my second trimester too and I've had some cramping/stretching along with joint pain in my hips.  Everything is shifting at moving for us right now.  Baby is doubling in weight by the week so our bodies are keeping up!  No need to worry unless you start to have other symptoms.

I get hip pain throughout the night and sometimes during the day. I'm 15w6d and it feels tight and ache-y. I'm trying to stretch to relieve it with some yoga poses.

I will start looking for stretches.

I get hip joint pains when the baby is pushing down and putting a lot of pressure on my pelvis. There's some good yoga stretches you can look up that really help ease the aches. Epsom salt baths are also wonderful for aches and pains.
