Should expecting parents get married?

Question

Should a couple, who had no plans to get married before finding out about the pregnancy, get married because there is a baby involved?

Don't ever marry anyone just cause your having a baby. Only marry someone if you truly love them. My parents can't stand each other but only married cause of me and stayed married cause of me and I hate them for putting themselves in that position and having me and my brother and sister watch them fight and hate each other.

That is ridiculous people get married because they love each other and are ready to get married, not because they are expecting a baby.  Sorry If That Sounds Judgemental I dont Mean It to. It's definitely not a good idea to do it just because you're pregnant.  Babies put a lot of stress on already established marriages, and can be stressful just in their own without being married.  It's ultimately up to you what you decide to do. But don't feel and don't let anyone tell you that that's what you need to do. Believe me you will learn a lot more about your partner in this next stage of your life, I know I've fallen even more in love with my husband watching him be an amazing father to our daughter these past 6 years but at first I wanted to kill him every other day. 😂

Only do marriage if that's what you truly want! Yes of course we would all love to be married/comfortable when we have a child but it doesn't always work that way. Even if you do get married who's to say you won't get divorced in a year? (Not saying you would!) My point is to do the best you can, enjoy the blessing that is bringing a child into the world. That is the only thing you should be worrying about. Goodluck babe.

My opinion... MINE.. Meaning my opinion

I do not plan on having children till marriage.. My boyfriend and I actually don't mind takin. The next step forward into marriage but we want to have our own place and he wants his truck paid off and he wants me to graduate college first.. But I believe you should be married. It's my personal opinion and my thought.. I will always believe you should be married first.. We take all percations nesscessary while having sex. Though if one of our precautions fail and I do end up pregnant abortion and adoption aren't options.. So within that case if we aren't engaged at point he said he'd propose but still in a secret surprising way..
