Hello ladies. I am 18.3 weeks pregnant. I have been having some bleeding and small clots. I have been telling my dr. since the beginning and monitoring each time, with a doppler and making sure I'm not gushing. Well today I went in for my ultrasound and my placenta is fully covering my cervix. This is my 3rd pregnancy. With Baby number 1 my placenta slightly covered my cervix but I had no bleeding and it corrected itself by my 5 month mark. I was put on light duty today and told to rest when necessary.

My question is have any of you ladies been put on bed rest this early and then had your placenta correct itself? Also have you not had the placenta correct itself and not be put on bed rest. I'm also not exactly sure what light duty means. I'm a physical ed teacher and coach I'm on my feet from 730 am to 6pm all day everyday. Please any suggestions. Oh and I'm also not supposed to have sex but jeeze that seems impossible. Lol I'm so turned on these days. Sorry tmi.
